Watercolor Bubble Art DIY

I got inspired by this little tutorial on Better Homes and Garden for soap bubble art.

Mix 2Tbs dish soap with 2Tbs acrylic paint into 1/2 cup water and then, using a straw, blow gently into the paint until you have a huge pile of bubbles!  Carefully lay heavy watercolor paper on top of the bubbles to get the effect.  It is one of those fun trial-and-error art projects, so I had fun experimenting with various techniques in an attempt to get a look I liked.

I am always looking for an excuse to send snail mail, so I think I'll write a cute greeting on these little paintings and send them as postcards.
